Safe Drinking Water

We are committed to providing safe drinking water across campus. Our facilities are equipped with filtered water stations, ensuring that students and staff have access to clean and healthy hydration throughout the day.

Green Initiative

SIT’s philosophy is a green vibrant campus, recycle and reuse. The campus has both rainwater harvesting and sewerage treatment plant. The treated water is used for gardening, and it is planned to further treat the water and use for flushing. SIT has made it a point that every visiting guest will plant a tree at specific area around the periphery of the campus. The campus is a plastic free campus, and this is propagated through boards at vantage points. The NSS wing not only propagates this with in the campus but also in the surrounding areas and Mysuru city.

Transport Facility

Transportation facility is available from Mysuru and surrounding areas for the movement of students and staff.

Visitor's Lounge

To provide comfortable waiting and discussion with SIT management, a well-furnished Visitor’s lounge both in academic building and hostels is provided.

Administrative Office

The administrative area is well above the norms specified by AICTE. There are four sections in the administrative office namely- Admission, establishment, finance and examination. Each section is equipped with efficient staff who resolve any issues related to specific queries of students and faculty.

Canteen

The institution has mini canteen that serve Snacks and beverages. Soft drinks are banned inside the campus. Day scholars and faculty can take lunch in the hostel canteen at nominal charges.

Stationary Store

To meet the basic needs of the students, a stationery store is located conveniently near the canteen. The store offers a full range of supplies essential for daily academic activities, including notebooks, pens, pencils, A4 sheets etc. The store also has photocopying services. Fitness Centre.

Fitness Center

The institute is establishing a well-equipped gym that provides round-the-clock access to students. The gym is well-maintained and features a multi-gym setup with modern exercise equipment. As an institution that prioritizes health and fitness, the college places a strong emphasis on offering top-notch fitness facilities. All the stake holders are encouraged to make use of this facility.

Internet and Wifi

Our campus provides high-speed Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring seamless access to online resources, research materials, and communication platforms. Available throughout the campus, the network supports both academic and personal needs, fostering a connected and productive learning environment.

Security 24/7

The institution has provided 24/7 security in hostels. The girls hostel has lady security and warden who take care of needs of girl hostelites and reports any happenings to the Principal every day.

Fire Safety

The campus provides complete fire safety provision as per the for safety norms. Laboratories/ workshops are provided ABC fire extinguishers.

Safe Drinking Water: Both academic area and hostel gets Cauvery water through a UV purifier. In the academic area each floor is provided with UV drinking water dispensers.
